I haven’t worked on any textiles in weeks! Here’s one I just started. I’ve been doodling teeth for a few days.

Finished! The 4 year old I nanny said it looked like a lagoon, so it’s named Lagoon.

Another felt/embroidery doodle. These are great for using up felt scraps!

Work in progress wall- everything I’m working on needs to be somewhere I see it everyday or I’ll forget about it and start a new project. Some of these are finished except for final coats of paint, others need a million more things. The shrine/art boxes are getting hung up as I finish them so I can group them by what I want to use in the show.

I’m working on a collection of felt and embroidery “doodles”, just random designs and free form stitching. It’s very relaxing, though I have no idea what I’ll do with them. This is what I did today.

Current project- felt applique sacred heart. I think I need to add sequins…

Felt poppies in various colors for Green House.

All the hearts that were on my desk. This is exciting because a few hours ago, there was a giant pile of junk on my desk but I cleaned it! and found all these hearts. Now I’m gonna hot glue some stuff to other stuff.

I’ve spent the morning watching Dr. Who and sewing heart hair clips to take over to Green House tonight.

(Friday night is Film Night at Green House. Tonight we are watching Earth Girls Are Easy while having cocktails and getting manicures.)

Another hand stitched heart, since that’s what I’m working on right now. (This one and the previous one are for sale, if anyone is interested.)
